In a week the only work I’ve done on my new novel project has been some notes, figuring out inter-character dynamics and relationships and…that’s it. Part of the slow pace relates to my working life being a tad demanding currently, but I’m worried the main reason is a fear that as soon as I really sit down and write more than the first few hundred words (which I have) I’m going to screw it up.
And I really don’t want to, not this time.
Just hoping next week I’ll kick some ass, creatively, move beyond note-taking and get this truly off the ground.
